​​The whole homestead is available to hire and is an ideal venue for wedding ceremonies and receptions, corporate and private events, catering for up to 80 guests for a seated dinner in the upstairs dining room.

Not a problem, you can erect a marquee on one of the lawns to cater for larger events, as the Homestead is set on 4 hectares of gardened grounds, offering a picturesque setting for wedding ceremonies and photo opportunities.  Nestled among the rose gardens and flowering shrubs, protected from the winds by a magnificent stand of historic pines, Gear Homestead is an unforgettable location with plenty of parking.
